That helps a lot, thank you! I knew about Skyscanner but not Easyjet. :) I'm from Canada, planning to move to Cardiff in early 2015 and getting a feel for how much I should be saving for travel!
Ah great! I have a lot of family in Canada and really want to visit. Well if you want any more info ask away :) Cardiff is a great party city hah

Hi! Hope you don't mind a quick question. I'm planning to move to Cardiff and travel from there to a bunch of European places, so I've been looking up airfare lately. How on earth do you find £45 round trip flights to Amsterdam? Thanks so much!
Hey!! Well it is definitely the cheapest return I have had so far.. Easy jet are definitely the way forward if you want cheap flights :) although i’m flying from Bristol (even tho I live in Swansea) was cheaper and the greyhound cost a £16 return from the airport.
Easy jet can’ be little shit sometimes though. If you ever wanted to change the persons name on the flight etc… They charge you so much! But can’t complain with the £45 return :)
Also always look on skyscanner. They will find you the cheapest flights and compare them for you!
So you’re moving to Cardiff? I went to uni there :) where you from?
Hope this helps! X
So for my degree I did media production. It’s been a few years since I’ve graduated and I’ve lost all my passion in it! I have filmed so much on my travels and have several projects started. Australia, Europe, Asian and some music festival. I need someone to give me a kick up the arse and maybe bring me unlimited supplies of coffee :)
When will this rain go away! It’s been terrible weather in the UK for the last 3 months now. Houses are getting ruined, vehicles flooded, waves are getting higher and trees are falling over!
I thought yesterday was a sing of nicer weather but it’s raining again!!
On a brighter note.. I’m yet again going to Amsterdam! It will be my 11th time! It’s actually cheaper going there than for me to go to London for the week. Which is crazing seeing as London is only 3 and a half hours away.
The return flight to Amsterdam is only £45!! And a hostel costing us £40 for 4 nights. I can’t wait though :)

Just a few random photos from my travels over the years. If you’re ever left with the decision to either start a career or go travelling… Pick travel every time!!
I know it’s scary to think:
-Argh I’m not going to have a job/career when I get home..
-I’m not going to have any money…
- what am I going to do now?
Yes it has crossed my mind loads of times. But all of the places I’ve seen, people I’ve met and memories I have made are priceless! It’s not such a hard decision after all!
I’ve managed to fund all of my trips will a standard minimum wage job and of course jobs along the root of travelling.
Don’t just sit there thinking about it. Do it :D
I just realised I don’t come on here much anymore. It’s hard ‘cause it reminds me of travel! Not that that is a bad thing :) it just makes me want to jump on a plane again and go visit a place I haven’t never been to before. But with trying to start a business and not having a great deal of money is putting it on hold for a while.
I just want to sink my feet into that white soft sand and take in the fresh sea air!! Too much to ask for? :p

So who has been cousin surfing? When I was travelling Asia I met a few different people who had done it… All I heard was good things. I want to do it for America. When I actually have enough money to go. I want to do a massive road trip for a couple of months. And I guess couch surfing would be a good way to meet some new people and of course save money.
